Key Features
Lower O&M cost
Dilution drops flue-gas moisture below the dew point - no heating or humidity control needed on the sample line.
Low flow, less clogging
Sonic-orifice dilution probe with customizable ratio (1:50–1:200); 70–100 mL/min sampling flow.
Dust blocked at the probe
The built-in filter holds back most particles ≥2–5 μm before they enter the sample path.
Tool-free filter swap
No need to disconnect sampling tubes or lines - no contaminants enter the clean-gas system.
PTFE sample tubing
Heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and low gas adsorption.
Reliable trace heating
High-quality heat tape, insulation and jacket for stable, safe operation.

Application
Online monitoring in dilution-based CEMS - power plants, chemical and process industries, and other stack-emission sites.
Design Rationale
Low flow, long filter life Non-dilution probes pull 5 L/min and load the filter fast. At 70–100 mL/min, dust intake drops by roughly two orders of magnitude - filters last longer and field service time goes down.
A fixed ratio, no electronics The sonic orifice locks the dilution ratio once minimum vacuum is reached. Temperature and pressure swings in the stack don't move it. No power supply, no electronic flow loop - fewer parts to fail, accuracy holds over time.
No condensation in the line Clean dilution air drops the sample dew point below ambient. The gas can't condense, so the sample line needs no trace heating or insulation. That removes the most common failure point in a CEMS and cuts energy use.
Filter swap without breaking the line The element comes out without disconnecting any tube. Nothing from outside enters the clean sample path, so the analyser stays uncontaminated and a filter change takes minutes, not a planned shutdown.
Materials matched to the gas 304 stainless on every wetted surface resists flue-gas corrosion. PTFE tubing carries the sample with minimal adsorption, so what you measure is what left the stack. Internal and external backflush - manual or automatic - keeps the filter clean between changes.
FAQ
Q: What are the wetted parts made of?
A: 304 stainless steel throughout, for corrosion resistance in flue gas.
Q: How much does it help with clogging?
A: 70–100 mL/min against roughly 5 L/min on a non-dilution probe. Less flow, less dust, longer intervals between filter changes. The filter also holds back most particles 2–5 μm and larger.
Q: What does the sonic orifice buy you?
A: A fixed dilution ratio once minimum vacuum is met, independent of temperature and pressure. Fully pneumatic - no dedicated power or circuitry. Ratio is customizable from 1:50 to 1:200.
Q: How do backflush and filter changes work?
A: Internal and external backflush, manual or automatic, controlled centrally in the instrument cabinet by a temperature controller with a platinum RTD. Filters swap without tools and without breaking any line.
Q: What about the sample line, and where is it used?
A: PTFE tubing - heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, low adsorption. Trace heating, insulation and jackets are specified for stable operation. Because dilution lowers the dew point, the line needs no heating. Built for dilution-based CEMS online monitoring.
